Welcome to the website of the department of History.It is intended to provide essential information that will assist present and prospective students of the department. The brief but basic information on the website are not only beneficial to the students of the department, but also to the entire students of the University, staff, parents, guardians, and the general public. It provides brief history of the department, philosophy and its objectives, details are also provided on Admission Requirements, Registration, Examination, Grading and Students’ Welfare in the Department. Largely, course titles and course descriptions as well as minimum units required to register at each level are categorically provided to enable students not to register for less or much courses.
To this end, it is hoped that this website will serve the purpose for which it is provided. Finally, I seize this opportunity to welcome our newly admitted and returning students and wish them success in their studies.
